The government has initially identified two precincts for urban renewal under the SMDA and Urban Renewal SEPP. These are:
The SMDA will work with the Department of Planning and Infrastructure and other key agencies such as Transport for NSW to help identify other precincts that offer significant opportunity for urban renewal. The process for selection of future precincts for the SMDA is outlined in the Urban Renewal SEPP.
